The cerebrum is the big brain hat that contains areas for personality, cognition, memory, and everything else that makes you….you.

Literally meaning “little brain” the cerebellum sits posterior and inferior to the cerebrum.

A dorsal root ganglion is a collection of unipolar neuron cell bodies that are just outside of the spinal cord.

Multipolar neurons are the most common neuron in the CNS. They are usually used as the main example when learning neuron anatomy.

Nodes of Ranvier exist on axons where myelin sheaths are absent.

A peripheral nerve is a nerve that is not part of the brain or spinal cord.
