Bronchioles Slide 130

Histology slide of lung tissue at high magnification. The image shows alveoli (clear spaces) bounded by thin, pink-stained simple squamous epithelium. An artery is visible at the left and bronchioles are scattered within the alveolar structure. Stain is probably H&E. The composition fills the frame showing complexity.

Microscopic view of lung tissue shows simple squamous cells, alveoli, a terminal bronchiole, and an artery. Pink-stained tissue forms a sponge-like structure with many small air sacs. The artery is located at the left of the image.
