Histological slide displaying skeletal muscle in cross-section. Muscle fibers are polygonal in shape and stained shades of pink. The white perimysium separates bundles. Small dark nuclei are visible within some fibers. The epimysium forms the outer edge in places, appearing pale pink and fibrous. The slide has been stained.
