Rhomboid major Origin

The rhomboid major muscle originates from the spinous processes of the T2 to T5 thoracic vertebrae.

Rhomboid major Insertion

Both rhomboid major and minor muscles insert onto the medial border of the scapula. The rhomboid major inserts from the root of the spine of the scapula to the inferior angle. The rhomboid minor inserts slightly above it.
